Primary Ride

Description

“Primary Ride” was inspired by the notoriously famous abstract works of art created by Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian. This beautiful piece creates a connection between Mondrain’s signature, primary color blocks of red, blue, and yellow with the hard lines and wedge shapes of the iconic Lamborghini Countach. The pearl white background is a factory color from Lamborghini called Balloon White.

30″x 30″ Created entirely by hand with automotive enamels and car paint on canvas, in collaboration with Inline Six Paint + Body.  The final work was sprayed with a high gloss clear coat in a professional automotive paint booth, which encapsulates the imagery and highlights the sparkle and depth of color in the hand painted designs. The gallery wrapped canvas features a thick, 2”, hand-painted edge that allows the imagery in the artwork to flood over the sides of the canvas. This original Kate Cook painting will come ready to hang. An Asphalt Canvas sealed certificate of authenticity, signed by Kate, will also accompany your original art purchase.
