Lockets reimagines these forgotten moments, offering a contemporary twist on the notion of a vintage photograph. With heart-shaped cutouts where the faces once were, these works are inspired by the symbolic gesture of placing a loved one’s image into a locket necklace. Hand-painted with automotive enamel on canvas, these paintings preserve otherwise insignificant photographs with a high-gloss automotive clear coat to ensure lasting beauty of a narrative reprised.
