For more than a decade, The Great Texas Panel Jam has brought together some of the most skilled pinstripers, sign painters, and custom artists—all donating their time and talent to support Scottish Rite for Children. Held inside Dallas Market Hall during the Dallas Autorama, this event is built entirely on generosity, craftsmanship, and a shared commitment to giving back.
I’ve been an attending artist since 2017, and for the past three years, I’ve had the honor of co-hosting. Watching this event grow while staying true to its mission is something I’m incredibly proud to be part of. Over the years, these auctions have raised more than $300,000, directly benefiting Scottish Rite for Children and the families they serve.
Inside the Event
For three days, artists paint live, transforming blank panels into custom works of art right on the show floor. Spectators are encouraged to stop by, talk with the artists, and witness the process from start to finish. Many of these pieces go straight to the auction block, where anyone with an entry ticket to the Dallas Autorama can place a bid. 100% of auction proceeds go to Scottish Rite for Children.
Timed panel jams add an extra level of excitement, giving the crowd a chance to see multiple artists collaborate in real time. Whether you’re a collector, an art enthusiast, or just passing through, there’s something here that will catch your eye.

This year’s event was beautifully captured by Vintage Dream Productions, who created this entire video on a volunteer basis. Their work highlights not just the artwork but the people behind it—the artists, the auctioneers, the attendees, and the hospital staff who make it all possible.
